2011 Show Day

Typical of a British summers days, it was sunshine and rain, but the weather did not hold back the crowds from attending our 64th show. There were many fine exhibits on display from vegatables, to flowers, to domestic and art. There was plenty opportunity for people to show off their skills.

Tickenham Flower Show was established in 1947 and is now in its 65th year. The Flower Show is held annually on the third Saturday of August and provides a great opportunity to bring villagers together. Tickenham Flower Show is not just about flowers. Classes cover many different areas, including vegetables and fruits, art, domestic, wine making and photography. Also childrens' classes, with classes from all age groups. It is a great family event.

We are always looking for volunteers to either help on the committee or help on show day. If you are interested please contact show secretary Ann Loader.

Craft Fair & Stalls

Craft stalls can be found both in the Village Hall and on the village field, outside of the marquee. If you are interested in selling crafts during the show, please

"Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the Flower Show. Had lots of interest in the waterwheels and one order so great from my point of view. It was a fab day and nice to see a proper village event. "
